This rather lovely bike was originally purchased for a very fashionable young lady to ride. However, having just passed her driving test, she now aspires to the purchase of her first motor car, so she has decided to sell her bike to help fund this enterprise. As can be seen in the photos, it is of the style that is currently very much back in vogue with the younger generation. Although some 6-7yrs old, and having been in daily use, the bike is showing very little signs of it's true age. Originally hand built, it now has a very comfortable soft gel saddle. The frame finish is a very pleasing metallic emerald green with contrasting black mudguards and chainguard. All of the paintwork is still in excellent condition with virtually no major chips or scratches. Indeed, the frame still has all of the original manufacturers transfers. For added convenience, it has had a rear luggage rack fitted, one that comes with a Cyclehut, quick-release bag, which when removed, doubles as a very acceptable laptop or tablet holding briefcase. Absolutely ideal for a student... The Sturmey Archer 3-speed is in good working order, as are the brakes. In point of fact, the whole bike would best be described as being close to mechanically perfect. The white walled tyres are original to the bike and still in good order with plenty of life left in them. New inner tubes were fitted only this year. As similar bike would now set you back well over £200. So the asking price of £75 OVNO, is to be regarded as getting a bargain.
