Very rare book being offered for sale in New Milton, Hampshire for sale

Hi, I have an original 1956, 1st edition of "Lady Chatterley's Lover" by D.H.Lawrence. Published by Heinemann/Nederland in The Hague, this book is specified as being the 'Complete unexpurgated edition' - which basically means that it is the uncensored version. It is also specifically marked, 'This edition must not be introduced into the British Empire or the U.S.A.' I acquired this book way back in the 1950's, when I was just a lad, and working in Amsterdam. I bought it because it was banned from sale in this country because of the explicit sexual nature of the content. The book is now 60yrs old and it is still a good read. It has moved house with me about nine times, but that being said, it is still in acceptable condition for a rare book collector. There are a few small stains on the outer covers and a little bit of foxing on the fly leaf. There are also a few scrathes on the back cover. I have trawled through Greatbritainlisted looking to find an approximate value, but such is the rarity of this book, that I have been totally unable to find another copy for comparison. That being the case, I'm setting my own price, but if you are genuinly interested in it's acquisition, try making me a reasonable offer... If all else fails, I shall be quite happy to pass it on to my grandchildren. P.S. I have just taken a phone call from a London dealer who told me that he recently sold a similar copy to an American dealer, but he wouldn't reveal the price...
